Not the “it rains here a lot and that’s why it’s green” or “The Evergreen State” type of green, but the environmentally conscious green. My friend Michelle organized the first and fabulous Seattle Fashion Week, and it was themed ‘green’. Very suiting for this city, and very successful. So it happened that I was invited (via Michelle) to a sort of Tupperware party for cleaning products. Set in a ‘detox Method House‘ we were taking a cooking class, with ingredients inspired by the scents and ingredients of the Method cleaning products: grapefruit, avocado, almonds, etc. The party was great, but also very effective marketing wise, because I have supplemented the products we got from the party with more, non-toxic, biodegradable, not-tested on animals cleaning products for home and body. Now more than ever, I don’t want to have to worry that the wipes I used to clean the kitchen counter could contain harmful to toxins for the food I prepare on it, or that the anti-bacterial soap which I use to disinfect my hands before handling my baby are in fact toxic to my baby.

Go green, go Method!
